Hi,

I purchased a brand new Toshiba SSD about 3 weeks ago, 240 GB, just to run Windows and other programs on it. Yesterday i was installing some Windows updates (i don't let it to do so automatically), and everything was going well, until just after the restart, when the SSD's health suddenly dropped to 99%. Attached you will find 2 screens from the overall and smart sections displaying the information about this SSD. The problem seems to be the #173 - Erase Count.
Would you please help me understand what is the issue here and if anything can be done about this ?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Thanks!

I think that when you erase data, this parameter increases. This should be normal for the SDS. They in fact admit a finite number of rewrites.
